The Ecuadorian Amazon is one of the few places in the world where you will have the opportunity to explore these vast rainforests. Joining a tour group will allow you the unique chance to experience the jungle from an insider perspective; become one with nature and journey into the heart of the world’s most famous tropical greenery, whilst still staying safe.
Although a pricier option, staying and travelling with a jungle lodge can be very rewarding. They usually have 2-3 activities per day including birding hikes, canoe trips and fishing for piranhas. These lodges are known for designing tailor-made guided tours to accommodate your wildest Amazonian dreams. However, be warned: once there, you may never want to leave.
